Main House, B&B
Thatched 16th century Poplar Hall has three beautifully furnished bedrooms for B&B guests: ensuite double with low beamed ceilings and roll top bath; double aspect double bedroom and single bedroom - both with private bathroom. All rooms have a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, vanity unit with washbasin, views of gardens and countryside plus comfy beds! Non-smoking within the house.
Our guests also have a sitting room and dining room for their use - with antique furniture, beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces and views of the gardens and surrounding countryside.
Breakfast is a sumptuous affair with fresh and dried fruit, homemade jams plus locally produced kippers, haddock, sausages, bacon and eggs. Choose what you fancy from full English to vegetarian. Served in the dining room which overlooks our bird tables so you’ll be dining with an array of British birds! We don't offer evening meals but there are excellent restaurants nearby.
Seasonal vegetables, homemade jam, marmalade and pickles are for sale so you can take a little bit of Poplar Hall home with you!
